Orchestra Brasil project present at Fenafor Peru

Peru is the first country to welcome the South America Roadshow, which will also take manufacturers of furniture supplies to Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina until November   The International Fair of Machinery, Equipment, Materials and Services for the Lumber, Furniture, Carpentry Industry – Fenafor – is the starting point of the South America Roadshow, an innovative initiative of the Orchestra Brasil project that will take manufacturers of accessories, finishes, components and technologies to four countries until November. Fenafor, held every other year, will have its fourth edition from October 25-27, at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima. After that, the trade mission will also visit embassies and hotels in Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina, ending on November 3.   The Orchestra Brasil Project – promoted by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – promotes the competitive inclusion of suppliers of the woodworking sector in the international market in a sustainable way. The goal of this trade mission in Latin America is to bring together Brazilian suppliers and representative bodies, furniture manufacturers, distributors and importers in the four markets visited.   Each country visited by the Roadshow will have the assistance of a representative of the local press to mobilize the media and opinion makers promoting the Brazilian potential to manufacture not only furniture but also supplies for the woodworking industry. Mercosul countries, traditional trading partners of Brazil, are among the ten top buyers of the products produced by the members of the Orchestra Brasil project.    In recent years, Peru has shown one of the largest economic growths in Latin America. The Peruvian economy has been growing at an annual average of 7% since 2005 adding up to other positive factors including crime reduction, income growth and the development of the real estate market. As a result, the monthly production of furniture has almost doubled in five years. The Orchestra Brasil project is aware of these opportunities and wants to help the Peruvian furniture industry to grow even further. We are here to make an effort for mutual growth, as we believe in the potential of the Peruvian industry and want to be part of this work history and development.
