Sindmóveis, through Casa Brasil, contributed to the decoration of the new facilities at the Tourist Service Center – CAT in Bento Gonçalves. The association donated the panels used to decorate the Salão Design project in Pavilion F at Parque de Eventos, during Casa Brasil 2011, planned by designer and creative director Jum Nakao and the architects Tina and Lui and produced with the help of Senai Cetemo students. The panels were made from waste material of the furniture industry in the region, representing the union of everything and everyone, and exemplifying the diversity of products exhibited at the fair. The new decoration of CAT symbolizes the importance of the furniture industry for the city, which together the wine industry, represented by Pipa Pórtico, boost the economy and business tourism in Bento Gonçalves.
