The Orchestra Brasil Project – promoted by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – will once again manage the Buyers Project business meetings during the International Tradeshow for the Suppliers to the Woodworking Industry (ForMóbile), from July 10 to 13 in São Paulo. Ten importers will participate in negotiations with suppliers to the furniture industry. The business meetings will be held on July 12 and 13, at a booth specially set up for the Buyers Project. Importers invited to the event are from Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, the United States, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Vietnam, Uruguay and Paraguay. The Orchestra Brasil Project promotes the exports of suppliers to the furniture industry and the service provided by Brazilian designers. In addition to the participation in international trade shows and in the main Brazilian fairs aimed at the woodworking industry, the project creates positioning strategies in the foreign market. The project is open to Brazilian companies interested in taking part in the business meetings held during ForMóbile. As a representative of the largest furniture manufacturing region in Brazil, Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves creates the conditions for the sustainable development of the industry through management, promotion, information and knowledge. The president of Sindmóveis, Edson Pelicioli, points out that the development of manufacturers of inputs and technologies is essential in this context. “The internationalization of the supply chain of the furniture industry and the service provided by designers supports the positioning we wish for Brazil in the international market regarding competitiveness and innovation,” he says. ForMóbile 2018 is focused on the key players involved in the process of developing and producing furniture: manufacturers of mass-produced furniture, cabinetmakers, store representatives, wood workers, product designers and architects. Promoted by Grupo Informa, the 8th ForMóbile will be held in a new venue: São Paulo Expo – the largest and most modern exhibition center in Latin America.
