The Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) was nominated for the Top XXI – Design Brasil XXI award for its incentive to design and furniture production through projects that bring together professionals and industries, to obtain better development conditions for the sector. Events with international visibility include actions such as the design and business fairs: Movelsul and Casa Brasil, the project to encourage exports Orchestra Brasil, and Salão Design, currently the leasing design competition in Latin America. Focusing on the course and scope of design in Brazil, the Top XXI award, in the third edition, recognizes and values the professionals and companies of the sector, strengthening the national design and expanding its visibility. It is organized by ARC DESIGN magazine, one of the most important publications in the country in this segment. Sindmóveis is a finalist in the category Support to Brazilian Design.
