Sindmóveis updates Survey on Staffing, Compensation Plan and Benefits

Members have received the questionnaires to be completed by June 20   Since last week, Sindmóveis has been sending member companies the questionnaires concerning the Survey on Staffing, Compensation Plan and Benefits for 2014. This analysis provides the association with data to map the prevailing average wage in the local furniture industry, also indicating the main practices adopted by the human resource area. The survey also serves as a wage reference and the basis for the implementation of remuneration policies. Sindmóveis has carried out this survey since 2005, treating the data source with complete confidentiality. Only companies that respond to the questionnaires receive the results, divided into two categories: companies with up to 99 employees and over 100 workers.  The president of Sindmóves, Henrique Tecchio, reinforces the call for companies to participate in this initiative. “The furniture center of Bento Gonçalves employs over 11,000 people directly and this survey is extremely important for companies to monitor the average wage prevailing in the market,” he says. This is just one of the benefits offered by Sindmóveis to its members. The association also provides free legal advice, infrastructure with an auditorium and a conference room, lectures and training courses, an International Committee, a Furniture Committee and the monitoring of the furniture industry through official data. The questionnaires concerning the Survey on Staffing, Compensation Plan and Benefits must be submitted by June 20 fully completed.
