Movelsul Brasil 2020
The largest furniture fair in Latin America for shopkeepers and importers – Movelsul Brasil – is analyzing the results of the last show, held in March, and getting ready for the period to renew contracts with exhibitors. Meanwhile, the board of Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves announced the date scheduled for the fair in 2020: it will be held from March 16 -19, following the model adopted this year with a four-day event, instead of five days as in previous shows.

Featured 246 exhibitors and strengthened its international approach with the presence of shopkeepers and distributors from 32 countries besides Brazil, totaling 30,284 professional visitors. The Buyers Project business meetings for Brazilian manufacturing companies and designers brought together export companies and potential buyers of Brazilian furniture to negotiate face-to-face. Held during the fair since 2000, the project achieved record numbers. Altogether, 70 guest importers negotiated with 145 companies.
Sponsored by Sayerlack and Banrisul, Movelsul Brasil has been held since 1977 by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis). The fair promotes the development of the Brazilian furniture industry, strengthening the commercial relationship between the industry and its customers while encouraging exports through initiatives aimed at the international market, a consumer of Brazilian furniture.
