The Raiz Project takes Brazilian designers to Orlando

Continuing to carry out the Raiz Project, an initiative to promote design services internationally, after exhibiting at ICFF from May 21-24 in New York, 13 designers will hold a show in Orlando from June 13 to December 13, 2017 in addition to business meetings from September 11 to 13 and December 9 to 12. This strategy strengthens their promotion in the North American market by attracting visitors from different regions of the country. The Raiz project is managed by Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves with the support of Apex-Brasil. This is the perception of Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves and Apex-Brasil, which, through the Raiz Project, stimulate the generation of business for design studios that are prepared to operate in the international scene and with interest in the North American and European markets. Based on the action plan aimed at entering the international market, the Raiz Project intensifies positioning strategies in the foreign market, provides designers with  contacts and reports from commercial intelligence, promotes a bigger share of information and experience among the companies, conducts the promotion advancement and the entrance of furniture designers into the priority markets with all the required support and the segmentation of the group according to their level of internationalization. The Raiz Project, established in 2012, is part of the Orchestra Brasil Project (carried out since 2006), a partnership between Sindmóveis and Apex-Brasil, aimed at the internationalization of Brazilian suppliers to the furniture industry. The design segment, included in 2012, was named the Raiz Project in 2014 as the result of the Design Challenge, an initiative developed throughout last year with the studios aiming to broaden their experience in the creation of products based on the view of a North American team. The new brand expresses the sum of cultures that nurtures the national creativity.
