Orchestra Brasil, a project to encourage exports promoted by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), was one of the initiatives presented last Wednesday, during the second phase of the Competitiveness and Innovation Roadshow to the furniture industry in Mirassol, São Paulo. The event included projects, programs, lines of credit, products and services provided by the institutions that comprise the Furniture Competitiveness Council and the Bigger Brazil Plan. High on the agenda is competitiveness, innovation and qualification of the woodworking industry. The program began with lectures organized by Apex-Brasil on initiatives to promote exports and also featured the presentation of the export-oriented Brazilian Furniture Project with the Wood and Furniture Association of Distrito Federal (Sindimam) and the Brazilian Furniture Association (Abimóvel).
